# About me
I’m a professional bug includer and code obfuscator!
Most of my professional time has been devoted to iOS development (Objective-C and Swift), but I’ve also worked as a web developer (Ruby on Rails and React).
I am an open-source contributor, active upvoter on StackOverflow, and enjoy attending conferences and looking at the state of the art (Google Developers Group Coimbra 2015 - 2018, Pixels Camp 2016-2019).
I’m a firm believer that Augmented Reality is the future, and here’s me giving a presentation on the subject.
I am also Time Magazine’s 2006 person of the year, have recently gotten hooked on 3D printing, play Dungeons & Dragons whenever I can, and am trying really hard to learn Japanese.
# Publications
I’ve also dabbled in the academic world thanks to my dear friend, professor Tiago Cruz. Here’s some of our published works:
- A Security Monitoring Framework for Mobile Devices
- Security monitoring for mobile device assets: a survey
- An Introduction to Mobile Device Security: Design, Development, Security, and Testing

Opinions are my own.
It’s been NaN
days since a bug I created caused me some concern.
# Random tidbits of wisdom
Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
When life gives you lemons, make orange juice.
Quidquid latine dictum sit, altum videtur.
Speech is silver, silence is golden.
Underpromise and overdeliver.
Some days you are the pidgeon, some days you are the statue.
Problems worthy of attack prove their worth by fighting back.
How you do anything is how you do everything.
An idiot admires complexity, a genius admires simplicity.
